Neko Jita at Quartair

Neko Jita exhibition dedicated to Japan opened a week ago at Quartair - Contemporary Art Initiatives space. 12 very interesting artists presented works in all different genres and styles. If you are in Den Haag (Hague) these days or will happen to be next couple of weeks the exhibition will be on until July 9 and it's absolutely worth to see, if not just watch our video and enjoy.

While videos are on their way to go public...

The past week was probably the hardest since the existance of this blog. Loads of filming, editing, managing things and brainstorming left no space for updates here, but not for long really. I'm back and I'm posting some photos from the exhibition that we attended and filmed. Film is coming very soon, just the last details are left to finalize, but these photos hopefully work as a nice preview of the video and the event. That was (and still is going on) Neko Jita exhibit at Quartair in Den Haag (Hague) dedicated to Japan. Our sweet team member and the fabulous artist Robin de Goede participated in the group exhibition together with others. The rest of the event is coming shortly in a new video and it shouldn't be missed.

Wedding - Volume 2 - Photography!

I don't remember if I've ever mentioned that we are filming only videos and are not into photography at all! Or did I? Not really. We are very much into photography and we are going to show you some of our photo works by all means. But now, this post is to update our wedding experience. I would never feel happy in my life, if I had missed the opportunity to publish this photos that we managed to take at Raymond&Mirella's wedding (see our video here).

As Anna&BInG were busy filming the wedding, we teamed up with our another best friend, the best photographer and visual artist Robin De Goede to photograph the couple. Robin made some 4 digit number of photos, but we are sharing only couple of them. Actually they are quite sneak peaks, because the couple hasn't seen all the pictures yet. That's all my fault, I couldn't wait, blame only me friends!

But aren't they utterly awesome?

So we deliver the full wedding video and photography package from on! How about this?

Very important P.S. The photo that we have placed as a header is photographed by BInG, the idea of the header, design and accomplishment belongs to Anna. So here we already showed our first photo work too. Oh, how quick and smart!

Wedding video made by us

Did I tell you that we love to film everything? I think I did. We turned into wedding videographers for a day and we adored it! Our friends Raymond and Mirella recently got married, June 3rd this year. Among other wedding gifts they received this video from us - the result of our 12 hour race from one location to another, shooting every single detail and the moment. I think it was worth of such a non-stop work. The video is sweet and the couple loved it! What can be the better compliment for the wedding videographer?
So here is the video, have a look and give us your feedback too. We are eager to film weddings again. Why not? It's amazing to be a part of the most important day in a couple's life and to produce a film which will stay their favorite movie to watch until the end of their days.

We usually use Vimeo as a channel to post our videos on the blog, but apparently they have this space limit, so we prefer to post the video with the full quality on Youtube, than to reduce it for Vimeo.

Boeken Vlucht

Boeken Vlucht is an educational film for kids. The idea is to show them that reading can be the same fun as computer games and movies. We tried to make it simple, easily-comprehensible and exciting at the same time.

Our one and the only actor starring in the film Liam Fundingsland enjoyed both filming and presenting it to the audience. He even had to sign quite an amount of autographs.

Above all the positive feedback that the films received, we were pleasantly surprised when the coordinator of the project told us that instead of one location, our films will be screening in four different locations in Amsterdam and it will last the entire summer until September 10!

However, filming this tiny, lovely movie didn't end up without a police scrutiny. The policeman appeared in the middle of shooting the detective scene. Apparently the house that we had chosen for location, belonged to one of the Embassies... Fortunately the policeman left only after us and we went to eat ice-cream instead of spending some time in the police department.

Ferry Poetry

Yesterday's opening at Museum Amsterdam Noord went amazing! We didn't expact so many people to come and to have such a good feedback! BInG was glowing with happiness hearing such good words about the films. The biggest compliment for us was poet Ibrahim Selman's very positive evaluation of the Ferry Poetry film, which was based on his beautiful poem.

Museum Amsterdam Noord Screening Our Short Films

Today is a very important day for us. First of all I'm writing my very first post on our new blog, and even more exciting - Museum Amsterdam Noord presents our very first jointly created films! Isn't iti amazing?

As soon as we decided to start filming together, projects just started to flow from all directions. The first project that we tool on was the one I'm writing about right now. In collaboration with Univesiteit van Amsterdam (Amsterdam University) culture study students, artist Machteld Aardse and with the greatest support of our nativeWebster University Leiden we managed to accomplish this very lovely project. It is called Siberie of Eden - Literair Ontsnappen in Amsterdam-Noord, which in English will sound like Siberia or Eden - Literature Escapism in Amstedam North. Amsterdam North is one of the oldest and historic parts of the city, which by our Dutch friends has been described as "the place still keeping genuine historic face and character of Amsterdam." We have in mind to dig A'dam Noord as a whole with our camera and there is a chance that you'll see more about the place soon in our blog. Meanwhile, here is the link of the Noord Museum and have a look, they have pretty interesting stuff to offer: http://www.museumamsterdamnoord.nl/index.htm

So what about our shorts? This remains a bit of a secret for the moment, but only until tomorrow morning. I can't really wait to upload them and show to everybody, but you know presentation is the sacred thing! Those people who are going to attend the opening will have the priviledge to see them! (okay, I'm exaggerating a bit... :) ) However, I promise to present it on the blog as soon as possible. More about the videos and the stories of the shooting, editing and all our adventures are coming in the next posts.

By the way, the films will keep rolling in Amstedam Noord Museum until September 10.
